Jonathan Ruedas, identified by the coroner's office as an 18-year-old white man, died Monday, April 30, two months after he was shot at an unknown location.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Ruedas was shot Feb. 26 and taken to a hospital for treatment.
Two months later, the victim succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead April 30 at 7:40 p.m.
Winter said the hospital reported the homicide to the coroner?s office. A police agency has yet to be assigned to the death investigation.
